Robert De La Garza, a San Antonio native, has been a musician all his life. He attended University of North Texas, with a major in music, in the early 70′s. After three years at Fort Sam Houston 5th Army Band, Robert De La Garza signed a Songwriters Contract with Tree Publishing in Nashville as a POP writer. Shortly there after Robert began playing keyboards for artists in Nashville recording sessions. In 1978, Robert became Musical Director for Charlie Rich. In 1980, Robert moved to Los Angeles and joined the A&M Recording Studio Staff as an engineer. After 15 years in LA, Robert moved back to Nashville to work with Reba McEntire and her Starstruck Entertainment Company. Robert’s seven years with Starstruck Entertainment earned him a title of Vice President of Starstruck Studios and Starstruck Broadcast. In 2002, Robert became the President & CEO of Southern Signal Records, Southern Signal Productions, Southern Signal Publishing, and Southern Signal Recording Studios. Robert met the very accomplished artist/musician/producer, Bobby Flores, in March of 2010 and shortly there after, Bobby and Robert teamed up.
